    Some background on STCP

The effectiveness of any player development program is predicated on the quality of its personnel. Well-qualified PDMs that can build rapport with the players and all stakeholders involved are critical in ensuring athletes receive the level of support they need to develop holistically. This requires adequate training opportunities and career pathways for the PDMs themselves to acquire the skills necessary to deliver this support.

Driven by a need to develop a specialized training resource for PDMs to driven the industry wide standards, a small team where tasked with identifying the core knowledge and understandings a PDM should have in order to thrive in their roles and support players through various transitions of their athletic life span.
Created by PDMs for PDMs, this online course is designed to provide new PDMs with a flexible learning option that will enable PDMs to acquire the key knowledge, skills and competencies they need for the role alongside doing the role!
